Nous serons de retour en Espagne au festival de Benicassim le 15 juillet!

Si vous lisez les Inrocks et bien vous ne lirez rien sur nous ce mois ci mais vous pourrez en revanche nous écouter car “I do” fait partie de la compile du printemps 2010 qui parait cette semaine avec le magazine.

«When you know» est rentré en playlist sur Nrj Belgique.

Pour les Français : vous risquez de nous voir de façon sporadique ou incessante ça dépendra de l’humeur et de l’inspiration des programmateurs sur M6 ainsi que sur la chaine W9.

N’oubliez pas de prendre vos places pour les concerts à Cigale ainsi qu’au Botanique, les places partent très vite !!!

Nous revenons d’une journée de promo à Paris bien remplie, quelques sandwiches «triangle» sur la route comme d’hab et direct en répèt pour les concerts de Liège, Tamines et Arlon!

Au passage, on tient à remercier le public lillois pour leur acceuil une fois de plus si chaleureux!

Ze NEWS:

Vous pouvez désormais écouter «When you know», le premier titre issu de notre nouvel album à la radio en France sur «Virgin radio», «Oui fm» ainsi que «le Mouv» et à partir d’aujourd’hui en Belgique sur «Pure Fm» en fresh !!!

Le titre «I Do» fera partie du sampler des Inrocks qui paraîtra la semaine prochaine !

Niveau télé, nous serons sur Taratata le 11 mai sur France 4 et le 14 mai sur France 2 !

Côté dates, quelques surprises sont encore à venir …

Good news for all our Belgian friends. We will be playing the Orangerie in Brussels on June 16. Tickets should be available soon. We’ll let you know when and where.

Lille was great. The people were great, the venue was great, the sound was great, the drive back was… long and fairly uneventful. Then again, I got to rediscover the Pixies on Surfer Rosa and finish the dog eared Tom Robbins I’ve been carrying around lately. Such is the life on the road my friends.

We’ll be back in Paris next week for the International show. There are apparently no tickets available. It’s free and it’s a ‘first come first served’ type of thing. My tip is to come early and get a drink while waiting for the fun to start. That’s what we’ll do most likely…

You’ll be happy to hear that all three of us have survived the week with all our fingertips and toes.

Two days on an icy beach in northern France in January for a video shoot could leave you with irreparable physical and emotional damage. I’m happy to say that thanks to a smiling production crew, a few blankets, Romain’s unique sense of humour and the couple who own Don Ponchos (the only brightly neon lit Mexican restaurant on an otherwise scary and deserted road close tot the cost who insist on downing a shot of Tequila with each paying costumer before they return them to the foggy night) we made it out alive and with a video for I do we will soon all get to discover together.

The Nouveau Casino was a blast. Ok Go are a cool gang and put on one hell of a good show. I have to admit thought that a lot of these showcases feel a little short and leave me hungry to play another few hours backstage.

Our good friend Rod le Hiboo put some videos up from our Glazart Show. If you haven’t already, you can check them out ici.

Tonight we play Lille. We’re opening for Just Jack and I’m curious to see what his audience will think of us. Find out here on the next episode….

Would write more, but I have to listen to the latest mixes and start figuring out what will make and not make it on the record…. Choices my friends, choices.

Morning people!

First off, thank you to all the courageous Parisians who fought the snow, traffic jams, general Parisian mayhem and came all the way to the Glazart. You guys were awesome and as always proved that playing in France is a lot of fun. When we first got there I feared my fingers were going to drop off as there was no heating and the only little electric radiator I found only just managed to save me from frostbite. The Parisian audience did however once again warm our hearts and saved our finger tips….

The year has started well and the mixes of the new (and still untitled) record are coming in courtesy of Mister Mark Plati. It’s safe to say he is doing an amazing job. Thank you sir!!!!

If you missed the Glazart, not to worry. More Parisian showcases are up on our Myspace. The next one will be the Soirée Custom les Inrocks at the Nouveau Casino. We will be playing alongside

OK GO and We Were Promised Jetpacks. That show will be followed by L’international.

We will then be doing two acoustic and intimate shows at Le Baron. I hear no more tickets are available though. Sorry to those who didn’t get any. We’ll be back soon enough I promise. In fact, we’ll be back one week later at Le Point Efèmère.

If you’re in France, be sure to check our session on France Inter for the Foux du roi show on the 18th. We’ll be playing one of ours (any suggestions?) and a cover (Surprise I believe).

If you’re not in France, we’ll be near you soon enough. We plan to visit hot climates in the very near future as winter here is starting to drag a little…

Sorry for not posting regularly. I plan on doing something about that.

I just woke up in Toulouse. The sun is out and the smell of coffee is inviting me downstairs. Shower first or after? Must find wi-fi! Life on tour is full of life changing decisions….

The AB date was awesome. I’ve always wanted to play on that stage since “Deus” rocked the place back in the 90s. Good times!!!!

I only just found out about Nantes. Sorry all. I know a load of people had tickets for that one. We’ll make it up to you guys. Next time we’re in town we’ll play a Lionel Richie or an ABBA song of your choice… Or one of ours backwards…. What would make you happier?

In good news, the EP will be online as of November 2. We’re happy with it. Real happy!

I think it’s a good indication of where the album is going. For our headbanging friends, the heavier tunes are on the way.

My over spammed email account has also just informed me that the second Botanique show is sold out. If you didn’t get tickets for that one, we’ll be back soon. No worries. My email account also informs me that I can buy cheep colourful medication for anything I might or think I might have. Christmas has come early this year.

The Toulouse outdoors are calling (25°), we’re heading for one of our favourite venues “The Bikini” and it’s swimming pool!!!
